Survivor Cook Islands will be the 13th season of the popular hit TV show Survivor. This season the castaways will travel to the Cook Islands, discovered by the legendary explorer Captain Cook, who was the original captain of the HMS Bounty from the novel Mutiny on the Bounty.
The Cook Islands are in the South Pacific near Tahiti. The show will take place on a series of four islands. Motu Rakau and Motu Rapota will be the two main islands where the tribes will set up camp. Both islands have beautiful white sandy beaches and crystal clear turquoise colored lagoons. The islands sit in an atoll surrounded by coral reefs filled with fishes. The islands are covered with vegetation but contain very little in the way of fruit bearing trees. The ability to catch fish will become very important in the game.
