Episode Title: Dire Straights and Dead Weight

In The Manihiki tribe they are having trouble with no water and they can't get fire from the flint. Eventually they get fire and dance in Tom Hanks Castaway like fashion. The Aitutaki tribe is using the spear and catching fish. Cristina Coria tells the tribe how she nearly lost her arm in the line of duty as cop. They are trying to capture one of the escaped chickens. Ozzy Lusth devised a net to successfully capture the chicken. The Puka tribe is also trying to capture chickens and catches two. Yul Kwon and Becky Lee show the early stages of forming an alliance. The Rarotonga tribe welcomes Johnathan Penner back. Johnathan Penner is annoyed they haven't worked at all on the shelter. Adam Gentry feels they are building the shelter incorrectly.

The Aitutaki is having a good time fishing and Billy Garcia is not working hard because feels out of his element. Ozzy Lusth and Billy Garcia are not getting along. Cao Boi Boi performed some practice on Becky Lee to heal her headache. At camp that night Cao Boi Boi is telling ethnic jokes and is annoying the other tribe mates. Back at Aitutaki Billy Garcia is snoring and keeping up the entire tribe. Ozzy Lusth throws out the concept of throwing the challenge to get rid of Billy Garcia.

The Rarotonga tribe gets tree mail telling them about the challenge which will involve working as a tribe. Ozzy Lusth is really lobbying to get Billy Garcia voted out so they can be a strong team and stop carrying dead weight. The challenge will consist of Jeff readings a story about Captain Cook. The challenge will involve negotiation an obstacle course to get answer plaques. They will use the plaques to fill in the answers about Captain Cook. Three tribes go straight for the obstacle Aitutaki decides to read the story again. Puka takes an early lead with 7 plaques with Rarotonga close behind. Puka wins followed Rarotonga and Manihiki. Jeff reverses the winning decision calling it a tie. From the Puka tribe Yul Kwon is sent to Exile Island.

At Aitutaki the tribe is dejected on the way back, and throwing the challenge bothers some of the tribe. Billy Garcia realizes his head is on the chopping block to go. Yul Kwon finds Exile Island a desolate and depressing place. Yul Kwon finds the immunity idol. Back at Aitutaki some of the tribe mates are feeling bad about voting Billy Garcia. Meanwhile Billy Garcia is trying to show that there is alliance and trying to get Ozzy Lusth voted off. Cecilia Mansilla and Cristina Coria are forming an alliance, and Ozzy Lusth is catching on to Billy's plan.

Billy tells Jeff that Ozzy Lusth assumed a leadership role. Cristina Coria feels Ozzy Lusth isn't the leader but is more comfortable in the outdoor environment. Ozzy Lusth says he's not the leader it's just the tribe. Billy Garcia accuses the tribe of throwing the challenge and JP Calderon admits they through the game. Billy Garcia says he has a spot for Candice Woodcock from the other tribe. The other member's tribe thinks he's crazy. Cristina Coria is bothered by the dishonesty that is part of the game.
