Survivor Cook Islands Episode 9

Episode Title: People That Like You Want to See You Suffer

At Rarotonga Johnathan Penner is going above and beyond to prove his worth gathering food. Candice Woodcock continues to bond with Adam Gentry. Jenny Guzon Bae and Pavarti take notice of Candice Woodcock and Adam Gentry bonding. Candice Woodcock and Adam Gentry start to flirt more intensly. At Aitutaki Ozzy Lusth realizes they are at a disadvantage being down four members. Tree mail has a code sheet with nautical flag. They also understand losing is not a pleasant option. Jeff tells them that Brad Virata became the first member of the jury. The challenge consists of digging up chests from coordinates. Inside the chests are nautical flags that spell out the word victory. Winning the reward will let the team participate in an UMU a local feast and pick a member from the losing tribe to go to exile island. Aitutaki is first out of the box with the first chest and second chest. Aitutaki gets all four chests while Rarotonga only has the third. Aitutaki wins the reward. Candice Woodcock gets sent to Exile Island the second time in a row.

Candice is very depressed about getting sent Exile Island. The Aitutaki tribe is welcomed to the feast and carried into the village. The ceremony is very emotional for each of the tribe members, and enjoyed the ceremony. Some of the ladies in the tribe take a liking to Yul Kwon and get him to dance. Ozzy Lusth finds the bond that the tribe has now established will be very strong. Rarotonga is depressed about losing and feels the reason they lost is they don't operate as a tribe. Tree mail is map of the island. Rebecca Borman is the weakest link as no one in the tribe feels she is contributing.

The immunity challenge consists of diving out and retrieving tiles with the island names. Once all the tiles are connected they must match them up to map. The losing tribe gets a message in bottle to be opened after the vote. Ozzy Lusth jumps to an early lead. Pavarti who is strong swimmer narrows Aitutaki lead. Aitutaki gets all of the tiles out first and starts the puzzle, and wins the challenge.

Rarotonga gets back to camp and starts think about what's in the bottle. They speculate it's about the merge. Rebecca Borman is the most likely candidate to get voted out a tribal council. Adam Gentry feels that Jenny Guzon Bae is going to be a problem after the next vote. Nate feels Johnathan Penner should go before Rebecca Borman. Johnathan Penner hopes his hard work earns him a few more days on the island.

Jeff notes they have only 3 challenges, Jenny Guzon Bae feels they haven't used strengths and weaknesses properly. Rebecca Borman says everyone is working at camp, Johnathan Penner emphasizes he has been bringing in more than his share of fish. Pavarti says Johnathan Penner has been helping the tribe fed. Jeff asks Adam Gentry if there is a trust issue with the defecting tribe members, he says it's all about who's producing and who's not. Rebecca Borman gets voted out of Survivor Cook Islands. Inside of the bottle is a note that says they must now vote out another member. Jenny Guzon Bae gets voted out of Survivor Cook Islands.
