After the last Tribal Council everyone is relieved that Jamie Newton is gone. Lydia Morales is starting to worry that she will be next in line to go. Gary Hogeboom tries to play on this fear by forming an alliance with Lydia Morales. Judd Sergeant overhears the information and shares this with Rafe Judkins and Stephanie.

The reward challenge consists of answering multiple choice and true and false question about Mayan culture, the winner gets a trip to a waterfall with food and a massage. Stephenie Lagrossa is the first to go thanks mostly to Lydia Morales, and she's not happy about it. Cindy Hall eventually wins and picks Rafe Judkins to go with her on the reward. Back at camp after the challenge Stephanie is very upset at being the first knocked out.

Cindy and Rafe Judkins enjoyed the reward and shared some strategy while relaxing. When they return back to camp the tribe wants to know how good it is. Lydia Morales is still upset at not being chosen. Gary Hogeboom notices that Stephanie, Rafe Judkins, Cindy Hall and Judd Sergeant are in power positions and he may be next in line to go. Gary Hogeboom starts conspiring with Danni Boatwright to bring Rafe Judkins into an alliance and with Lydia Morales and change the power base.

The immunity challenge consists of answering trivia questions about an ancient Mayan mythology story. After answering the questions they win flags and the first person with 7 flags wins immunity. Gary Hogeboom and Rafe Judkins are neck and neck at the 5th flag, but Rafe Judkins edges Gary Hogeboom out in the end to win his third consecutive immunity.

Back at camp Rafe Judkins, Stephanie, Cindy Hall and Judd Sergeant are talking about the alliance and how easy it is. Lydia Morales meanwhile has figured out she is no longer needed and may be next on the list. Gary Hogeboom is trying to work with Rafe Judkins and finds out he is not to comfortable with Judd Sergeant. Judd Sergeant meanwhile is worried about Gary Hogeboom and Lydia Morales.
