The episode starts with Nakum walking back from Tribal Council. They are exhausted both emotionally and physically. After stumbling thru the dark they decide eventually to sleep the night in the jungle

Meanwhile at Yaxha the tribe is opening up and bonding and talking about themselves. Gary Hogeboom repeats the lie about his profession that he is a landscaper. Everyone seems happy and the girls are braiding each others hair.

At Nakum, Blake Towsley is still having a hard time. He has difficulty breathing, and is being attended to by Margaret Bobonich. Tree mail arrives where they learn they will be climbing a web for a reward challenge.

The reward challenge is a run over a mesh ramp to climb across a spider web net untie a bag drop it into the water. The first tribe to retreive all 8 bags wins the reward. The reward is fishing equipment hooks, line, bait, and corks. The race is very close and tied at 7 bags. Blake Towsley and Brian Corridan race across and drop the bags at the same time. Blake Towsley get out of the water first and narrowly beats Brian Corridan.

The next day Nakum goes fishing with their new gear and manages to catch some small fish for the tribe to eat. Meanwhile at Yaxha some of the tribe members are starting to notice Morgan McDevitt is doing the least amount of work. They are short on food and Rafe Judkins and Gary Hogeboom find an ant mound break off a piece and bring it back to camp and start eating them, much to the dismay of Stephenie Lagrossa. Lydia Morales comes up with another solution makes a trap for fish using a burlap bag and manages to catch enough small fish for everyone to eat something. Back at Nakum, Blake Towsley is still sick and Margaret Bobonich is still caring for him. He spends much of the day resting. This is starting to annoy Judd Sergeant and Brandon Bellinger. Judd Sergeant says he's going to make sure he's well rested so he can be the hero at the next immunity challenge

The immunity challenge is a whole team tug of war in a muddy pit. The first round ends in stalemate. They then begin individual challenges. The first is Gary Hogeboom against Judd Sergeant. Danni Boatwright within earshot of everyone mentions Gary Hogeboom is quarterback and Judd Sergeant is like a linebacker. Brian Corridan is the only one who takes note of this and directly questions Gary Hogeboom later. Judd Sergeant gets closer to the flag and despite a last ditch effort by Gary Hogeboom Nakum wins the first flag. For the second pull it Brandon Bellinger against Jamie Newton. Jamie Newton gets an initial lead but Brandon Bellinger eventually pulls him over to win the flag. For the third event it's Judd Sergeant against Jamie Newton. Jamie Newton sprints out getting a huge lead. Judd Sergeant gains some ground but holds on until the last 5 seconds. He then makes a dart to flag and get closer and Nakum wins immunity.
