At the last Tribal Council Judd Sergeant crossed old tribal lines and voted Brooke Struck out of Nakum. Margaret Bobonich is bothered by this and feels he's done a disservice. Judd Sergeant feels its tough cut throat game and he's gotta do what it takes to survive. At Yaxha a crocodile is wandering dangerously close to the shore. Brian Corridan and Amy O'Hara are both from the city and the experiences they have are quite different than the majority of the tribe who come from rural farm country. They are also very religious and saying prayers before every meal, while this doesn't sit will with Brian Corridan he's laying low so he fits in.

At the reward challenge Jeff Probst asks everyone about the heat, and how bad it is. Both tribes talk about how they want to go into the water, but they can't for fear of crocodiles. Jeff Probst lets them know today's reward will be a pitcher of Margaritas, nachos and guacamole dip. To win the challenge they must hack through two ropes with old Mayan stone knives. Then hack thru a log, and then use a capstan turnstile to pull a cart up a hill. All but one of the tribe will get into the cart they will cut the rope and race down the hill to victory. Jamie Newton and Brandon Bellinger start the first leg. Brandon Bellinger quickly hacks through his ropes using the knife like an axe. Jamie Newton struggles. Bobby Jon Drinkard uses a machete to hack through the log while Jamie Newton is still stuck on the ropes. Yaxha takes a big lead and easily wins the challenge.

When the crocodile proof enclosure is delivered to Yaxha it's big enough for the whole tribe and is a very welcome reward. Meanwhile tension at Nakum is pretty high. Judd Sergeant is having a hard time getting along with Margaret Bobonich and Cindy Hall. Stephenie Lagrossa is having a hard time dealing with being on the losing team.

That night there is a torrential downpour and Brian Corridan and Blake Towsley are the only two tribe members who sleep through it. Amy O'Hara gives Blake Towsley the nickname 'Golden Boy'. Brian Corridan is doing everything in his power to encourage Blake Towsley to make himself look bad. The next morning Lydia Morales decides she is going to cheer the tribe up, she does some bad magic tricks and silly dances to lift the tribe's spirits.

For the immunity challenge balls will be launched from a catapult while other team members will try to catch it in a net. Tribes are allowed to try and steal the other tribes catapult launches. After the first few launches it becomes a 2-2 tie. Nakum then starts to play more aggressively and catches two more to win immunity. Jamie Newton is visibly excited about his victory.

After losing the reward Brian Corridan is going forward with his plan to make Blake Towsley look bad to his other team mates. He talks to Gary Hogeboom about getting rid of Blake Towsley. Gary Hogeboom then talks to Brandon Bellinger who admits he has an alliance with Blake Towsley. He then talks with Booby Jon who also announces he has an alliance with Blake Towsley. Danni Boatwright will be the swing vote.
