On day 37 Lydia wonders why she is still part of the tribe and feels blessed to have made it this far. Rafe feels very proud of all the decisions he has made in the game up until this point and hopes everyone notices how he has played the game. Lydia got tree mail and feels that they are going to have a celebration ritual and feast. She turned out to be correct four natives came with offerings for the temple. During the ritual the natives sacrificed a live chicken. After the sacrifice they were given tamales and drink from the local natives. They tried to eat the chicken but weren't allowed.

The immunity idol consists of finding 8 puzzle pieces in a complicated obstacle course maze. Stephenie and Rafe make it back with all the pieces and are neck and neck. Danni makes her way up but is behind, Rafe solves the puzzle first and wins immunity.

Stephanie starts to plan with Rafe to get to the final two. Stephanie feels the best shot they have is to vote out Danni and compete against Lydia. Danni also feels she is in danger and is also working on Rafe. Stephanie goes and checks to see if the chicken is still around. They found the chicken was cooked to perfection. Everyone eats the chicken except Rafe who feels they it would be bad to eat it. After they ate the chicken a huge storm happened and they jokingly kid about the storm being caused by them eating the chicken.

At tribal council Rafe tells Jeff about the chicken sacrifice ritual Lydia tells Jeff that they ate the chicken, and she believes it caused the storm. Lydia feels safe because she isn't a physical threat. Danni feels Lydia is bigger threat because everyone likes her. Stephanie says both people pose a danger. Lydia gets three votes and is voted out at tribal council.

Back at camp the next day the camp is wet from the storm and they can't start a fire. The corn is ruined and they have nothing to eat or drink. On tree mail they learnt hey will play homage on journey through the jungle and pay homage to the other tribe members who were eliminated.

For the last immunity challenge you will balance on a wobbly platform, using two ropes. You will have to release one of them after 60 minutes. After the next 30 minutes you release the other. All three make it to the first rope release. Stephenie falls off then Danni then Rafe. They prop themselves up against the pole to balance. Rafe adjusting himself accidentally touches the pole and is out. Stephanie is sliding very slowly down the pole. She eventually succumbs and falls, giving Danni immunity.

Stephenie is distraught at losing, Rafe publicly releases Danni from her promise to go with him to the final two. Danni feels the pressure of who to bring to the final two. Stephanie doesn't feel it was a mistake to vote out Lydia last time. Danni can't believe that she is here. Rafe reveals that he released Danni from her promise. Stephanie and Rafe both admit they screwed over the same people so it's just a tough choice for Danni. Danni votes out Rafe.

Stephenie and Danni are both happy to be leaving the jungle tomorrow with no more mosquitoes, howler monkeys and bad food. They go out to the swimming enclosure for a last swim. They start to breakdown camp and burn all the items in camp.

At tribal council Jeff brings in the jury and after some brief instructions Jeff lets Danni and Stephanie make an opening statement. Danni is surprised and thankful that she made it as far as she did. Stephanie thanks everyone for making this an amazing experience, while she knows people may be mad she welcomes their questions.

Bobby Jon is first and thanks Stephanie for getting him to the jury. Stephanie admits she backstabbed two people but is proud how she played the game. Danni is proud of how she played the game. Gary feels the game is still being played. Stephanie feels Gary shouldn't vote for him because she turned and broke the alliance and was a bad decision. Danni admits she doesn't deserve the vote because she broke the alliance and went with Rafe. Jamie asks Danni to pick her top 5 and asks Stephanie why she was friendly with people and still votes people out. She explains that blindsiding people was they way to go and she was playing the game. Lydia asks why she should vote for her. She wanted to play against a harder competitor than Lydia. Danni admits at some point you will have to lie to advance in the game. Cindy asks who she should remove from the jury she says Rafe. Stephanie is unsure and eventually picks Jamie. Rafe asks why she took Stephanie. She picked Stephanie because she played the best and who tried the hardest in the competition. Judd asks if they had ever ice skated or roller bladed. He then asks if she lied and reveals two lies. He then tells her she should go to confession. He asks Stephanie is if she is still hungry because she ate more than everybody else. He is still upset that she lied to his wife. Stephanie tries to defend her position but doesn't have much success.

In her closing statement Stephanie says that Survivor is the hardest game and to play it sometimes you have to hurt people. She didn't let people make decisions for her and she took a leadership role. Danni came into a merge and waited to see who was in control and says that Rafe and Stephenie put everyone on the jury.
