At Casaya Tribe Shane Powers is talking about sending Bobby Mason home. He is openly criticizing the decision and looking to back out of the alliance. Cirie Fields is talking to Courtney Marit about Shane Powers wanting out of the alliance. Courtney Marit is working on the all woman alliance. At La Mina Tribe Dan Barry is reflecting and enjoying the solitude. The men's tribe is worrying Sally Schumann who doesn't think they will make it. Terry Deitz is trying to catch little minnows to get food. Dan Barry is confiding in the tribe he is an astronaut. Shane Powers is asking the other members of his tribes to release him from the alliance. Aras Baskauskas wants out of the alliance with Shane Powers. Courtney Marit and Danielle DiLorenzo are both arguing with Shane Powers about his bad attitude.

La Mina realizes the numbers are close for a merge and winning is vital. The challenge is for reward and immunity. The challenge consists of retrieving puzzle pieces and completing a puzzle. The winning tribe gets a barbeque at a local village. The winning tribe picks someone to go to Exile Island, and that person will not attend Tribal Council. La Mina Tribe is back first with all the pieces. But Casaya Tribe put is together quicker and wins immunity and reward. They send Sally Schumann to Exile Island.

Sally is relieved to be on Exile Island and free from immunity. The search for the immunity idol is overwhelming. The Casaya Tribe tribe goes to the barbeque and is having a good time. Shane Powers manages to get a cigarette from one of the villager. Shane Powers tries to make up with Danielle DiLorenzo. The party brings the tribe together.

At Tribal Council Nick admits Sally Schumann would have been out and realizes it was a strategic move on Casaya's part. Dan Barry admits his mistake and takes responsibility, and feels it's going to be him. Dan Barry gets three votes and is voted off the tribe.
